| It is against the law in Montgomery County for an owner to allow an animal to enter or
defecate on private property without the owner's permission. An animal may
defecate on public property or the common area of the property in which the owner
shares an interest if the owner immediately removes and disposes of the feces by a
sanitary method. Montgomery County Law also requires that pets be leashed or
under the control of their owner at all times. The Association hopes that residents will
use common sense and courtesy regarding their pets so this does not become an
area of contention. |
